Editing pages and posts

  • Open page or post.
  • Find the area you want to edit and… edit.
  • The new Gutenberg editor in WordPress is easier to use but can be tricky as well. When selecting the content to edit you might select a column but just keep clicking until you have the cursor selected on or in the text.
  • Before saving your edits use the Preview link at the top right of the editing area to check the results.
  • Then Publish.
  • Use Revisions shown below to roll back changes if necessary.

Note that some pages use Reusable Blocks for on page navigation such as the Awards pages. These must be edited in the Reusable Blocks area and any edits there will change all of the pages where the reusable block exists. Edit carefully and don’t simply edit the block on a single page, or the edit will only work on that page and not the others.

To edit:

  • Select the Reusable Block and click the vertical three dots at the top right of the block.
  • Choose Manage Reusable Blocks.
  • Choose the block you want to edit. Edit the links or names and save.
  • The edits will appear on every page where the block is in use.
