Go to Plugins from the left WordPress nav
Activate Broken Link Checker
Go to Tools from left nav and select Broken Links
Use this to find and edit broken links on pages, or as a hint for navigation items that might be broken. I don’t think this tool finds broken navigation links so manually check those when removing pages.
After fixing links, DEACTIVATE Broken Link Checker. It runs on a schedule and unnecessarily slows the server.
