The problem with automated web page builders

The number one problem with automated web page builders is that they usually create a website that is slower than a custom website.

Automated page builders are what you would use if you built your own website. They don’t require the website builder to know how to work with the underlying code of the website.

There’s nothing wrong with using a developer that uses these tools, except:

  • The code produced by automated web page builder is bloated, which makes your website slower than it should be.
  • If you ever need customization outside of what’s provided your developer might not be able to provide it.

Our base WordPress theme is custom developed by us to be very fast without code bloat. Although it’s not seen on the design of the website, the underlying code affects page load time, which effects SEO.
